The overall goal of the project
The overall goal of the project is to raise awareness among different layers
of the population, on enhancing the protection and preservation of the
environment and biodiversity, which deals with various types of pollution
issues. This will be done A greener and cleaner Black Sea during the
24-month period of the project By providing a practical means of action for
the region.
Georgia. river Churokh, estuary and adjacent fresh water ponds
Moldova. Ramsar Site and Biosphere Reserve “Kvemo Prut Wetland”. Habitats.
Turkey. river Turkish territory of Chorokhi including rivers (such as Chaglayan and Aril).
Greece. NATURA 2000 coastal zone of Central Macedonia region.
Romania. Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve and Lower Danube National Wetland habitats of the park.

Development of common tools and methodology for observation of smart environment.
Level of plastic pollution in BSB ecosystem study areas, analysis of challenges and measures to reduce it.
Exchange of experience/border monitoring and evaluation.
Development of recommendations for ecological rehabilitation of studied ecosystems.
Development of community involvement in science and environmental knowledge production.
Valorization and distribution of collected data
